Gabrielle Beam works on the forefront of city transformation and gospel proclamation.  She has helped pioneer a decade-long transformation movement in Bridgeport, Connecticut in a work that brings together ministry leaders, business leaders, and civic leaders. While continuing this work in Bridgeport, Gabrielle is supporting city transformation efforts in the tri-state region, other parts of New England, and serves as the Vice Chair on the board of Movement.org.

Gabrielle founded Rise To Read, a non-profit organization working to eradicate early childhood illiteracy and disrupt the school-to-prison pipeline, which has generated national and global interest.

Gabrielle is the lead pastor of the Rivers Church in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and is the Co-Chair of the Council of Churches of Greater Bridgeport, a partnership of urban and suburban churches working together to meet the heartfelt needs of each community.

Gabrielle was ordained as an Anglican priest in 2011 and holds Master of Divinity and a Master of Sacred Theology from Yale Divinity School. She is married to her best friend in life, David! Together they have four beautiful children, a son and a daughter-in-law, and a daughter and a son-in-law, and one grandpup!
