Each summer, we host enriching camps in Bridgeport filled with engaging activities that inspire, educate, and create lasting memories.

2026 VACATION BIBLE CAMP

    • Free literacy-based summer camps for children ages 4–12, hosted in neighborhood parks throughout Bridgeport

    • Reading instruction supported by public school teachers and trained volunteers from local churches across the Greater Bridgeport Area

    • Literacy focus on phonics, sight words, reading comprehension, and fluency

    • Enrichment through creative and performing arts, with introductory math and science activities

    • A closing performance that showcases student learning through art and storytelling

    • Camps are designed for easy access, taking place in local parks within the communities served

    • Teachers train and guide volunteers (ages 16–80+) to support small-group instruction

    • Children are grouped by age and reading level

    • Literacy skills are taught through games, movement, and hands-on learning

    • Children help write short scripts and create artwork inspired by the stories they read, which becomes part of the final performance
